If you are making a post and you enter someone's username - it will send them an email that they were mentioned in a discussion board post...
For example:
@patmurphyTAW, @markmillerTAW, @paulharstromTAW, @jimlangeTAW, @mikehatchTAW, @mikedierksTAW

@ronewingTAW - it only works if you spell the person's name correctly! You missed the "c"
