Praising God for an amazing soft launch of a new chapter in Columbus.

Seven of us gathered together – most didn’t know the others except for a short meeting prior to the meeting.

God brought about community, commonality, and challenge! It is hard to put into words how God showed up. I used the "new member form" gave each person a chance to "walk through" the document. Two "BIG" things showed up. First, half the group didn't have a Mission / Vision statement. This queued up the round table issue discussion. Then, as one of the attendees was sharing and got to his family story he said "My wife told me on my way out this morning she is not happy with our marriage". SILENCE. Then 4 of the attendees shared that they were told the same thing by their spouses in the past. 2 are divorces and 2 have restored. Strangers when they walked in, in authentic community within 2 hours!

God is good. Praise Him for creating a place for authentic community!
